Bishop Canevin High School held their third annual Comedy Night event last night at O'Connor Hall in St. Paul's Seminary. The show featured a loaded line-up of alumni comedians: Tim Dimond '04, Darrin Hall '97, Justin Janosko '98 and Jesse Joyce '96.
One of the highlights of the evening was the surprise guest appearance and performance of Bishop Canevin High School students Joe Boulos and Adam Karabinos. The duo assisted with a song by performing alongside Darrin Hall and Justin Janosko.
The comedians had the crowd laughing-out-loud for nearly two hours. The audience consisted of Bishop Canevin High School faculty, staff, administration, friends of the school and alumni/current students from the following classes: 1964, 1969, 1973, 1976, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011.
The good times and laughs continued at the after party, which was held at The Hop House (www.thehophouse.com). This special opportunity provided attendees the chance to meet the comedians.
It was also announced at the show that Jesse Joyce is scheduled for a television taping with CNN this coming Monday.
Thanks in part to the generosity of our comedians donating their time and talent, the event generated over $3,000 to benefit Bishop Canevin High School.
